The service
presets.dev provides a community library of configuration files (rules, instructions, prompts, agents, and skills) for AI coding tools. The service is provided free of charge and without warranty.
Content license
All presets on this site are released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute any preset in personal or commercial projects. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
User contributions
By submitting a preset to presets.dev you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to submit it.
- You agree to release it under the MIT License.
- The content does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights.
- The content does not contain malicious code, spam, or illegal material.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to disrupt, abuse, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure.
- Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
- Scrape or bulk-download content in a manner that degrades service quality for other users.
Accounts
Accounts are created via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for any activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
No warranty
presets.dev is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that presets will work as expected in your specific environment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, presets.dev and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or its content.
